I have decided I’m just not going to focus on the future as much anymore. It’s distracting me from the present and that’s not good. Especially because the present is so incredible. I don’t need to worry about the future. The future will be the present soon enough anyway. So I figure if I just keep the present great, the future will be too. Come what may.

Which means I’m a very lucky gal. I got chosen from USGA to be one of the ten who are paid for to go to this thing. And it’s $175 a ticket. NBD. (Check diz out: http://www.hrc.org/events/entry/hrc-utah-gala-dinner)

Which also means I’m slowly piecing up a nice enough outfit to attend this place. It’s all black tie attire and whatnot. And black-tie attire is not what I own.

Which most importantly means that I got pinstriped pants. (Which I thank Jasmine for braving the mall with me and helping me accomplish the seemingly impossible.)

Life is good, my friends.
